The Rendezvous was a fun-filled riding weekend for everyone.  There were 28 in attendance, seven of which were kids who appeared to have more fun than anyone. 

The gathering was kicked off with an early ride on Friday afternoon followed by a potluck dinner held at the river on Tumble Creek Ranch.  There were quite a few in campers, horse trailer living quarters & a couple of tents.  As luck would have it, there was no fire ban, which allowed all to gather around a wonderful fire toasting marshmallows & conversing.  Saturday started early with a ride up by Horsethief Ranch & lunch above

Saw Mill Gulch Creek.  It was a long ride but there were no complaints…. Iron Butt Riders! Saturday evening’s dinner was provided by Rob & Katie Ferris then everyone relaxed around the campfire reciting cowboy poetry.  Sunday was arena games planned by Jennifer Bell.  Almost everyone participated even those who never dreamed they be riding a horse in the games.  It was a fun & safe holiday weekend for all who participated.  

Our many thanks for all those who helped make the Rendezvous a huge success.  The early birds who helped setup are Peggy Sandbak, Ken & Jackie Rackley & Jennifer Bell.  A special “thank you” to Jennifer who organized & ran the arena games. These same individuals also helped close the gathering along with Ken Kemp who arrived on Sunday after most had already departed the ranch.  Our thanks as well to MSFTA, which donated many of the arena games prizes.  The prizes were well received by all of the winners.  Katie & Rob Ferris
